It's the final play of the final game of the season for the championship and your team has just completed a pass to the opponents 2 yard line. There is time for on last play and your team trails 21-17. One chance, one play, for all the marbles. Call your play! respond |
Despite falling behind 17-0 your team has managed to close to 24-23 as time expires by scoring a touchdown on the final timed down of the game. Do you kick the tying extra point and play for overtime, or do you go for the win (or loss) with the 2-point conversion call? If you run a play for two, which play? respond |
The night before the championship game your star QB stays out past curfew. You have a rule, and even applied it to a lineman (2nd string, but sees playing time) earlier in the season on a road trip. The rule states that if a player misses curfew on the road, he doesn't play. You are a passing team (70% of the time for 80% of the total yardage) and your second QB is young and inexperienced and has seen virtually no playing time all season. Do you make the QB sit out the game? Justify your decision. How could this misfortune have been avoided? respond |
